Transforms our Silver Package 2 into a personal legacy documentary by adding your family photos, music (royalty free), graphics and titles to your story. We will help you tell your story by incorporating archival still photos during your story-telling process. We can add royalty free music to help set the stage of your story. It is your opportunity to tell your family who is in the photos, where the photos were taking place, etc. We will help you create visual content to enhance the story your family is hearing. In this filming process you’ll be “immortalized” so that all future generations will come to know your expressions, gestures, voices and idiosyncrasies; forever being memorialized. Combines our Silver and Bronze packages with the addition of MULTIPLE PERSONAL VIDEOS (limited to the 8 hours on location with single camera shoot, no still photographs or royalty free music added to these additional videos). Not only will we help you create a gift you can share with your family and generations to come, but you will have the opportunity to create and address individual personal addresses to your loved ones. A personal message to your spouse/significant other, child(ren), grandchild(ren), friends, etc. Each additional video will be packaged separate for you to give. Maybe you want us to capture how you prepare a favorite family recipe or showcase a collection you have or visually describe how to build something in your woodshop. FAQ's
How do I prepare for the interview questions?
Some people like to prepare and others are totally comfortable with waiting until the day of their shoot. It’s your story, so you decide! If it eases your mind and you’re more comfortable, we will send our list of topics and/or if you have topics important to you that you don’t want to miss, we will add those to your list as well. I personally like to be prepared. I find it grounds me to think about and reflect on the topics and helps me to recall relevant stories and experiences or think about how I’ll respond.
What if I'm uncomfortable being on video?
We completely understand! This is a common concern shared by many. This may be the first time you have been in an intentional video. Some of us have been part of a Zoom meeting or a tele-health appointment or even Face-timed with a loved one but this may feel different. Typically, you become more comfortable with the camera after a few minutes and even forget you are being taped. We do our very best to make you feel comfortable and at ease from your first phone consultation to the day of the shoot.
How personal will the interview get?
It’s all about YOU – your story, your adventures, your history. You decide what and how much you want to share. Part of our role will be to ask you questions and keep your story on a on a chronological timeline, but ultimately it is completely up to you what you choose to talk about and how personal you want to get.
Who will conduct the videotaping and session?
We will! Sean and I will always be conducting the interview. One for the interview and the other behind the camera. We enjoy meeting people and listen to lots of people’s stories! We feel our role is to be present and be active listeners and embrace your stories. We will stay in the background as much as possible and when needed, guide the “flow” of your story to ensure all the topics/areas are covered in the allotted time we have for your session.
